Let this page be the default location for website, life, or other things I'd like to talk about when I don't want to make an entirely new page for it.

6/29/26:

The website has been revamped! Each sub section has sidebars? corresponding to linked homepage square.

A few days ago I watched a video by Izzzyzzz about old personalized webpages. This kind of re-sparked my desire to work on this website. Also because I should be doing research or studying for the algebraic topology qual. That means it is time to focus on other projects!

It has always been my intention to make this webpage a hub of information I'd like to disseminate. Apparently for niche topics you can't always rely on AI to get the information you need (who could've guessed...) so I need to do my part as well.

Anyways back to the website update. Pixel art is quite in style right now, but the reason all these squares are dithered has more to do with a previous Minecraft project (post coming soon?) I also changed the look of the header because with the new sidebars it looked weird. The '←' and '⌂' icons seemed out of place as well.

The headers are in Courier which is a bottom tier font according to more than a few individuals. Justification: it holds a special place in my heart as the default font on Word Perfect, which I used to write my essays during grade school. I'm struggling between a formal polished writing style and a more casual one because the tone is 'reminiscing.' Courier reminds me of when I used to print rough drafts on scratch paper. I'd end up staying late and leave the essay on the dining room table for my dad to edit while he eats breakfast. The backsides of the papers were two hole punched and covered in Courier New from his court cases or something like that. Actually I think we still have papers like that upstairs lol. Now days I never type using Courier, or even choose a font because if I have to type, it better be Latex.

Courier New matches a 'coding' vibe so I decided to leave the header as a sort of clickable working directory. With guilt, I must admit that each page has the sidebars and header set manually... There's probably a much better way to set this up using javascript, and I probably will if I ever do an ENTIRE SITE re-haul. But as of now:
